The problem is, most people never say them out loud, either because they don\u2019t want to offend or they assume \u201cthe other person will just know.\u201d But silence over time easily creates tension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Writing these things down helped us understand each other better, making everything feel much more comfortable and professional.<br>No one had to guess what the other was thinking \u2014 and there was no quiet frustration building up during work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bai_hoc_2_Thong_nhat_muc_tieu_chung\"><\/span>Lesson 2: Align on a shared goal<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After understanding each other\u2019s boundaries, I shared my work goals \u2014 where my teammate also played an important role.<br>I didn\u2019t just say, \u201cYou\u2019ll help me with this,\u201d but rather, \u201cWe\u2019re working together toward this goal.\u201d<br>My teammate needed to know:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 What I\u2019m trying to achieve.<br>\u2705 How their role impacts the outcome.<br>\u2705 What the final result should look like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When both of us could see \u201cthe bigger picture,\u201d they didn\u2019t just follow instructions \u2014 they started contributing ideas and proposing solutions. And the best part?
